AKSEL was created in 1990 by Stanislaw Slowik, who is still co-owner and CEO after all these years. Aksel is a radio-telecommunications, technology and IT oriented company as well as a software provider for hotels. Aksel cooperates with American company Systems Associates Inc., which is creating specialised software applications for hotels, and exclusively distributes its SynergyMMS (maintenance management system) in Europe.
SynergyMMS is a software solution deployed by the world's largest and most successful hospitality companies. Providing tools designed to support the many diverse users in a hotel, SynergyMMS offers non-technical, multilingual user-friendly interfaces for intuitive operation. A wider area of activity is created as well as integrated IT solutions based on radio communication, particularly for public safety - medical rescue brigades, police departments, fire brigades, mountain rescue brigades, special forces etc. - as well as fleet management and dispatch system for vehicles, telemetry, remote control and mining.
Most radio-telecommunication projects have been supported by Motorola appliances for which Aksel is the main distributor in Poland since 1993. Aksel also became a software and hardware producer for automatic vehicle location, Consel, and for fleet management and dispatch units. Nowadays, Aksel employs more than 50 people, who collaborate to create new, unique projects.
For many years Aksel explored foreign hospitality markets, mostly in Europe. Today, the company is present in Poland, the UK, Scotland, France, Malta, the Netherlands, Cyprus, Portugal, Spain, Estonia, Ukraine, Italy, and is exploring new markets such as Germany, Austria and Russia.
