ZUMEX®, the Spanish world leader in the design and manufacture of technologies for squeezing fruit and vegetables, has succeeded in getting two of its professional proposals to burst with force into cafeteria, cake-making and juice-making chains in many parts of the world. We are talking about the Versatile Pro and Essential Pro, two elegant designs geared towards establishments with a large flow of clientele and high juice production, which have found their natural outlet in these spaces.

The truth is that both machines have taken off really well during this financial year, mainly thanks to their success in these new spaces. In fact, the increase in accumulated sales between both machines, has amounted to 40% during the first half of 2015, with respect to the same period of the previous year.

International chains such as Starbucks, Subway, Costa Coffee, Paul Bakeries or Autogrill are just some of the examples of firms that have selected Versatile Pro and Essential for use in their establishments. Other international flagship stores have joined them, too, such as AMT Coffee, Boost Juice, Caribou Coffee or Whole Foods, among others.

The technical characteristics of both developments are quite similar: they offer high yield, squeezing 22 oranges a minute, they have a digital display system to programme the operating mode of the machine depending on the context of use; Original System® juice extraction technology; non-drip system in the tap; and the possibility of installing it on the firm’s Podium, designed to make it easier to remove the peel and move the machine in large production contexts.

But each machine is designed to satisfy different requirements of use. Whilst the Essential Pro has a simple load feeder, which permits inserting up to five oranges – perfect for low-to-medium production establishments – the Versatile Pro offers greater autonomy, thanks to the upper basket designed to load up to 10 kilos of product.

"The success of both proposals lies in their cutting-edge technology. They are highly intuitive machines as their touch control display permits selecting the different modalities of use: in self-service, autostart or professional mode. Furthermore, despite their compact design, these juicers are highly resistant and give a high yield of juice. Perfect for very busy premises", explains Victor Bertolin, CEO of ZUMEX® Group, who is totally satisfied with the penetration of their automatic juicers both onto new markets and onto already consolidated ones.
