The Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL) is well known in the hospitality industry being both the first and best ranking hospitality management school in the world.1 To maintain this reputation, EHL constantly strives to meet student needs and industry demands with premium hospitality education, plus recruitment, research and advisory services for industry partners.
Now, EHL is innovating again by offering new programme options and founding a new campus in southeast Asia to give students even better opportunities in the global hospitality industry.
To prepare EHL students for today's globalised hospitality and service industries, EHL is opening a new campus in Singapore, one of the Asia's top destinations for business and tourism. This campus will allow students to experience a melting pot culture while also discovering other countries and attractions in Southeast Asia. It will also give students career inspiration from some of the world's most amazing five-star hotels, Michelin-starred restaurants and multinational companies based in Singapore.
To better serve students of all backgrounds and learning styles, EHL now offers two pathways for the Bachelor of Science in International Hospitality Management, and the degree is offered on all three EHL campuses (Lausanne, Passugg, and soon Singapore). The new Professional Pathway, offered primarily on the Chur-Passugg campus, allows students to gain extensive professional experience through internships and a detailed focus on F&B concepts. It's a must-see programme for students who want a hands-on approach to hospitality management and plenty of work experience at graduation.
To keep up with the industry, EHL offers a variety of graduate degrees and online courses for students and professionals at every stage in their life or career:
EHL was founded more than 125 years ago as the world's first hotel school in Switzerland, the Ecole hotelière de Lausanne (EHL), and EHL is currently ranked number one worldwide for employability, academic quality and research.1 Since 1893, EHL has pioneered the methods of hospitality education and formed countless leaders for the hospitality industry creating a global network of EHL alumni with 25,000 professionals spanning 150 countries.
Now, as part of the EHL Group, the flagship school in Lausanne is joined by the Swiss School of Tourism and Hospitality (SSTH) in Chur-Passugg, and EHL Advisory Services, the consulting branch of the institution. This group creates synergies between hospitality education, business development and innovation to offer premium learning and training opportunities for students, plus top talent and recruitment services for companies, and business advice and market insights for valued partners.
