Deutsche Hospitality is the new umbrella brand for the companies of Steigenberger Hotels AG.

It represents an international and dynamic family of brands characterised by attributes such as passion, perfection, caring, tradition and vision. Deutsche Hospitality is positioned both as an excellent host and as an attractive employer able to fire the enthusiasm of its staff around the world.

The Deutsche Hospitality brand encompasses a total of 116 hotels in 12 different countries on three continents − 20 of these hotels are at the development stage.

The three hotel brands which come under the umbrella are Steigenberger Hotels and Resorts, Jaz in the City und InterCityHotel.

  • Steigenberger Hotels and Resorts offers 56 fascinating locations all over the globe. This is a brand that stands for the epitome of luxury and hospitality. It delivers inimitable Steigenberger charm in settings that range from historic traditional buildings to lively city residences and extend to include health and beauty spa oases set at the very heart of nature. The latest hotels to open have been the Steigenberger Hotel Cologne and the Steigenberger Airport Hotel Istanbul (Turkey). The Steigenberger El Tahrir in Cairo and the Alcazar in Sharm el-Sheikh (both in Egypt) will follow this year as the group continues to expand outside Europe.

The brand’s two flagship hotels are the Steigenberger Frankfurter Hof and the Steigenberger Parkhotel in Düsseldorf.

  • The 39 hotels operated under the InterCityHotel brand are located in the centres of some of Germany’s most attractive cities and at other international destinations. These modern city hotels are upper mid-range establishments that guarantee comfort and are always only a few minutes’ walk from major transport hubs such as railway stations and airports. Guests also benefit from a special perk in the form of the FreeCityTicket, which delivers total mobility by enabling local public transport to be used free of charge. The first InterCityHotel outside Europe opened in Salalah in Oman in July 2016. Over the coming months, new openings are scheduled in Qingdao (China), Braunschweig und Duisburg.
  • The first hotel to operate under the Jaz in the City brand opened in 2015 in Amsterdam, where it offers guests a total lifestyle package. Jaz is an exciting new concept that is young, urban and in tune with pulsating cosmopolitan life. It combines design, music and enjoyment to form a truly special overall experience. Spontaneous musical performances in the lobby make the hotel a stage and turn every stay into an event.

Jaz in the City offers yet more. Its rooms feature a cool and modern look, and perfect service is provided. The latest trends in the local food and drink scene are also showcased. Guests are greeted by state-of-the-art technology and can, for example, use a special smart phone app to check in and check out, and to open the doors to their rooms. The second Jaz Hotel will open in Stuttgart in the spring of 2017.

All of this makes Deutsche Hospitality a strong umbrella brand that can be used to accommodate further hotel brands. Its international reach means that it is ideal for tapping into new locations. The aims of the company are to continue to consolidate its position internationally as a German hotel group and to pursue expansion.

Deutsche Hospitality also has an internet and social media presence.
