Using the time provided by the Covid-19 situation, the company based in Reykjavík has created over 400 new contracts with experiences suppliers, focusing on day tours and attractions.

With these two new countries to add on the list, TourDesk continues its roadmap to internationalization, offering its services in 9 markets: Iceland, Finland, Ireland, Scotland, England, Croatia, Austria, Spain and Portugal.

In the words of María Eugenia Alemán, Revenue Manager at KEA Hotels: “Because of the global situation, the priority list from General Managers has been modified and hotels are now looking into ways to solidly improve their digital ‘facade’. Therefore, looking at ways to improve the business revenue while offering an added service to the clients becomes very appealing, especially considering the current ‘peculiar’ times we are all experiencing.”

With brands like Radisson, Accor Hotels or Hilton among their clients, TourDesk –which is free-to-use– expects to double their client list within 18 months.

TourDesk, created in 2014, is a tours and activities sales platform, that allows hotels and hotel guests to book experiences in a simple way, through an automated, live environment, paying to their partners a commission based on sales made.
