The current hotel, located within Bloomfield Road Stadium, will become Blackpool FC Stadium Hotel, a member of Radisson Individuals, in Q2 2022. It is one of only five hotels integrated within a UK football stadium.

The hotel has 66 rooms, made up of standard rooms, executive rooms and suites, 22 of which offer impressive views of the pitch. There is a restaurant and bar serving traditional British cuisine, a lounge sports bar and a large function room that can accommodate up to 300 guests. For those wishing to relax and unwind, the hotel offers a spa with four treatment rooms, a sauna and a 90sqm fitness center.

Blackpool is a major tourist destination and one of the UK’s most visited seaside resorts. Famous for its Pleasure Beach amusement park, Winter Gardens entertainment complex and the landmark Blackpool Tower, which houses the world-renowned Tower Ballroom, Blackpool has a lot to offer its millions of visitors each year. It also hosts Blackpool Illuminations, an annual light show along the promenade that is switched on during the autumn and winter.

Blackpool FC Stadium Hotel, a member of Radisson Individuals is a 10-minute walk from Blackpool South railway station, and a 10-minute drive from Blackpool North station, which offers regular services to Manchester and Liverpool – both of which can be reached in a little over an hour – plus Leeds, York and London Euston. Manchester Airport is an hour’s drive from the hotel and the motorway network is accessible within 10 minutes.

Adela Cristea, Vice President, Head of Business Development UK & Ireland, Radisson Hotel Group, said: “At Radisson Hotel Group, we’re committed to delivering unique experiences to our guests. A hotel both within a football stadium and in the popular and unique tourist destination of Blackpool certainly helps us achieve that aim. Ben Mansford, CEO Blackpool Football Club, said: “Since Simon Sadler purchased the Club, we have worked hard to establish Blackpool FC Hotel as one of the leading places to stay in Blackpool. Under the stewardship of Chloe Pixton, things have continued to move forward against the challenges of a global pandemic.

For the Club and the hotel to become associated with a best-in-class global market leader is testament to how far everyone has come at Bloomfield Road and we are excited for what the future with Radisson Hotel Group will mean.”
