STEVEN GILBERT APPOINTED FOOD & BEVERAGE DIRECTOR AT LONDON HILTON ON PARK LANE

21 February 2022

London, 21 February 2022: Steven Gilbert rises to the helm of London Hilton on Park Lane’s food and beverage collection after 15 years of experience in hospitality.

Steven’s experience spans a multitude of food & beverage roles within the independent and branded hospitality sector. Steven has previously held the position of Food & Beverage Manager at Hilton London Heathrow Terminal 4 and Food & Beverage Director at Hilton London Metropole, before joining London Hilton on Park Lane in late 2018.

Commenting on his appointment, Steven said: “It’s hugely exciting to be appointed as London Hilton on Park Lane’s new Director of Food & Beverage, particularly at such a critical time for the hospitality industry. We can see what an enormous appetite there is to once again explore and experience the incredible food and service London has to offer.”

“We’re looking forward to what this year will bring: London Hilton on Park Lane is refurbishing its iconic ballroom ahead of its launch in the spring, we have some amazing plans for one of London’s oldest rum bars, and we’re also looking ahead to the 60th anniversary celebrations of this legendary property – these exciting stories truly embody what the hotel is about: harnessing its history and heritage while always looking towards the future.”

Located in the heart of Mayfair, London Hilton on Park Lane overlooks Hyde Park and was the first Hilton-branded property to open in the UK in 1963. It features 453 guest rooms, 16 meeting rooms and is home to 10° Sky Bar and Galvin at Windows restaurant on the 28th floor. Additionally, the iconic hotel is home to Trader Vic's, London's first French Polynesian restaurant - in addition to Wyld by Nature, London's first eco-friendly nightclub.

London Hilton on Park Lane is currently undergoing an extensive renovation of its first floor to launch a "new era" of events for the hotel. This includes the first refurbishment of its Grand Ballroom since it was opened by Conrad Hilton in 1963. This is due to complete in April 2022.
