A 1 year warranty extension on parts is on the cards for three of Welbilt’s key brands

9 July 2020

Guildford,UK. Welbilt UK has announced an additional one year parts warranty extension on their Convotherm, Merrychef and Crem models. Launching on the 15th of June, and part of the brands’ recently announced added value initiative, Welbilt UK will provide UK operators with a further 365 days of reassurance and operational piece of mind – factors which are critical to foodservice operators that are looking to invest in new equipment during the current climate, as outlined by Steve Hemsil, Sales Director – UK & Ireland, Welbilt:

“With many businesses starting to plan for reopening in early July, operators will now be taking time out to decide if, and what, new equipment they need to invest in, in-order to meet new demands and new ways of service. However, it’s not just the culinary features and benefits that operators will be looking out for, but added value packages, particularly when it comes to customer support and quality assurance too – two key attributes that our new 1-year parts warranty extension has been designed to satisfy, along with the many other aspects of our added value initiatives.”

By introducing this complimentary 1-year extension, warranties on orders delivered and invoiced between the 01st of June 2020 and 31st of December 2020 will now be as follows:

  • Merrychef – 2-year Parts + 1-year Labour
  • Convotherm – 3-year Parts + 2-year Labour
  • Crem – 2-year Parts only (Only applicable to coffee dispensing equipment)

Conducting the warranty work  for this generous new package will be Welbilt UK’s team of 30 factory-trained engineers; all of whom are committed to providing an efficient and reliable aftersales service to all the brands network of UK customers.
