Accor Hotels has appointed Sébastien Bazin as its fourth chief executive officer since 2006 in what is being interpreted as a further effort to speed up its asset disposal strategy.
Bazin was previously working as an executive at Colony Capital, one of Accor’s biggest shareholders.
Upon his appointment, Bazin said: "I want it to find the boldness, dynamism and desire that [Accor Hotels] has always been led by.
Having served as interim CEO, Yann Caillère is leaving the company.
