The solution matches internal performance data with live market information to turn the manual job of room price calculation into an automated background process, allowing users more time to concentrate on what’s really important – their guests.

Focusing on the independent hotel market and operating in 46 countries worldwide, RoomPriceGenie has been developed in close collaboration with hoteliers to ensure it is fully fit for purpose and tailored to their specific operational and revenue needs. Pricing is now more critical than ever to achieving sustainable profitability and RoomPriceGenie has been built to enable hoteliers to achieve just that. It is the only pricing system built so that it can be used by the non-expert. The owner or general manager can operate and understand it, for full and accessible functionality.

For a full- service approach, RoomPriceGenie is integrated with 35 technology companies including channel managers (e.g. Siteminder) and PMS providers (e.g. Guestline) and can also work using just a connection. At the start of this year, the team announced two new industry partnerships with High Level Software PMS and the hospitality software company eviivo, to extend its portfolio of integrations even further to customers worldwide.

Ari Andricopoulos – CEO & Co-founder
CEO and founder Ari has always had a passion for data. Before starting RoomPriceGenie with the ambition to help increase revenues for his father’s 15-room B&B, Ari spent 15 years creating algorithms for financial markets, most recently as a partner at the Swiss hedge fund Dacharan Advisory. He holds a PhD in Financial Mathematics from the University of Manchester.

Marvin Speh – COO & Co-founder
Marvin is co-founder at RoomPriceGenie and responsible for all operations. He is passionate about enabling independent hospitality businesses to leverage modern technology to improve their performance and free up valuable time. Early on in his career, Marvin worked at his family’s travel agency, then moved into studying business and starting a career in finance. When meeting now co-founder Ari in 2017, he did not have to think twice and moved back into the travel space.

John Halligan – Senior Sales and Country Manager, UK & Ireland
John joined the RoomPriceGenie team in 2020, bringing with him over 18 years of hospitality experience and in particular eight years of revenue management experience working in a host of hotels both in Dublin and London. He studied Hotel and Catering Management with Business Studies at GMIT in conjunction with JurysDoyle Hotel Group as a Trainee Manager before embarking on a career that has included roles across all aspects of operations. It is this on the ground experience that has proved so valuable for RoomPriceGenie and its growing customer base.
