11th November 2021 – BodyHoliday and Rendezvous, part of SunSwept Resorts, are supporting travel advisors by increasing commission to 13% when they book direct at both properties. SunSwept Resorts work with many channels of distribution and want to ensure that commission for agents is competitive with UK industry standards.

This follows on from the launch of the pre-arrival personalisation tool in October 2020, allowing travel agents to log in on behalf of clients before their stay to personalise the guests’ experience. SunSwept Resorts has also invested in its connectivity channels, now being available via the global distribution system (GDS) for ease of booking.

Rebecca Platt, Corporate Director of Sales and Marketing at SunSwept Resorts said of this launch: “Personalisation of holidays is increasingly key and travel advisors play a key role in this. We value all of our distribution channels, from travel advisors, tour operators and other partners, and this increase in commission is part of a global strategy to support the travel advisor community and place us in line with industry incentives”.

On the personalisation of guest experiences she continued “Personalisation has always been a key part of the journey at our resorts and we are always working on ways to enhance this part of the guest experience.”

Continued Travel with Confidence Policy:

SunSwept Resorts want to support guests and travel partners as much as possible during this challenging time, continuing to offer their Travel with Confidence Policy. Should travel need to be cancelled or postponed due to a positive PCR test within 5 days prior to travel, the country of origin being placed on lockdown prohibiting travel or any other government mandate prohibiting travel, guests will receive a full refund or credit note. For any guests requiring a negative covid test before returning to their home country, a rapid antigen test will be offered free of charge with testing onsite at both resorts.
