IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed a dual-brand management agreement to introduce the first-ever Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants and EVEN Hotels to Jeddah. The development will be located in the growing King Abdullah Sports City district, one of Saudi Arabia’s flagship lifestyle and events hubs.
This deal is part of IHG’s broader strategy to expand its presence in Saudi Arabia and respond to increasing demand for premium, differentiated hotel offerings. The dual-brand project will feature two distinct hotels on a shared podium, enabling IHG to deliver tailored experiences for two different guest segments while benefiting from operational efficiencies.
Kimpton Jeddah will introduce the brand’s signature boutique experience to the Kingdom, combining design-driven interiors with highly personalised service. EVEN Jeddah, meanwhile, will cater to the rising interest in wellness travel with amenities such as in-room fitness zones, dedicated wellness spaces and health-conscious dining.
Both hotels will be integrated into the mixed-use sports city complex, which serves as a destination for major sporting events, entertainment and tourism. The project supports the goals of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 by expanding lifestyle and hospitality offerings in key urban centres.
IHG currently operates 45 hotels across six brands in Saudi Arabia, with 47 more in the development pipeline. This signing underscores the group’s confidence in the Kingdom’s tourism growth and its ability to support a more diversified, experience-led hospitality sector.
