Invisible Heroes 2021: Infraspeak launches campaign to offer its platform to organisations impacted by COVID-19

13 May 2021

May 12, 2021 - This past year has brought tremendous challenges to facility managers worldwide. The COVID-19 pandemic required a prepared response in order to ensure a safe and clean environment for healthcare workers, maintain and secure unused buildings or guarantee the proper use of essential facilities amidst the transition to remote and homeworking.

There’s no doubt that this response was backed by the hard work and dedication of maintenance and facility management professionals, which played a key role in the fight against this global crisis.

In 2021, the focus lies on ensuring a successful return to a new normal, which means facility managers are once again, right at the center of the action.

Recognising invisible heroes at hospitals, schools, hotels and cultural venues Students must feel safe when returning to school and be able to truly enjoy their experience. Audiences and artists need to feel taken care of, in order for culture to come back.

Healthcare professionals need to feel comfortable, so they can focus on treating their patients. Tourists need to be longing to go back on the road, so the hospitality sector can quickly recover after being one of the most affected industries by the pandemic.

To make sure this happens, there’s an invisible hero working around the clock. To help mitigate the impact caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and to show gratitude to these professionals, Infraspeak launched the “Invisible Heroes 2021” campaign.

Under this campaign, symbolically launched on the World FM Day, Infraspeak will offer its Intelligent Maintenance Management Platform to four organisations - one for each of four categories: Culture, Education, Healthcare and Hospitality — completely free of charge.

“Since the beginning of the pandemic, Infraspeak has driven several initiatives to help facility managers and maintenance managers to deal with all the new cleaning and safety requirements. We talk every day to these professionals and we are aware of the pressure they felt and still feel in guaranteeing safe spaces, and we are also aware of the impact that the pandemic had in these four specific areas. For this reason, this is another way we have found to show appreciation for their work while feeling that we are contributing to a safe reopening of culture, education, health and tourism.”, explains Felipe Ávila da Costa, CEO, and co-founder of Infraspeak.

Applications until June 2nd This is a global campaign, so there are no country restrictions. Organisations in the aforementioned categories can easily apply through the campaign website by filling a simple form in which they can share a bit more about their operation and current needs. Infraspeak will then evaluate the applications, engage with the shortlisted candidates, and finally choose the winners for each category, which will be announced on June 17th, 2021. Applications are open from May 12th to June 2nd, 2021. Any questions can be directed to invisibleheroes@infraspeak.com.
